Pleasanton City Hall Mural:
This mural, painted in 1985 in the back of the Pleasanton City Council Chambers, by Augustine Vargus, includes many historical symbols from both cities: Tulancingo's pre-Columbian pyramids, conquistadors, cathedral, satellite communications, and agriculture; for Pleasanton: the Rose Hotel, Kottinger Barn, agriculture, quarries, Centennial House, and roses from the Pre-WWII era of rose horticulture.
